Underfloor heating runs at a low water temperature, which makes it the system that pairs best with a heat pump: it warms the whole room evenly, with no draughts and none of the noise of a fan coil, and it frees the walls of radiators.

We set out the circuits room by room, install the manifolds and zone control, and leave the loop under pressure with a test record before the screed closes over it — because once it is closed, a leak costs the entire floor. On refurbishments we check the available depth first: there is not always height for a hydronic system, and where there is not, the electric option solves it without lifting the whole floor.
